AGENDA

 

Jim Anderson – Chairman, Commissioners: Mario Gho, Clint Meyer, Pete Simpson, Doreen Fitzgerald, Ed Herrgard. Alternate position is vacant.

 

1.           Monies spent to date, on snow plowing/gravel, etc.  Jim will update us all.

 

2.           Welcome aboard new Road Commissioners!

3.           Need to have an alternate commissioner. Any suggestions/names?

 

4.           It’s OFFICIAL!! The Borough Assembly adopted Ordinance 2003-82 to change our road service name to: Goldstream Moose Creek Service Area. Congratulations to all!!

 

5.           Secretary for our road service area is needed.  Any volunteers? Borough Rural Services can send out to bid for this position.

6.           Change in Chair position.  Jim wants to step down from Chair position, but still be a Commissioner. Clint is willing to be Chair.

7.           Driveway issues and culverts still need to be “addressed”.

 

a.      Suggestions are needed on how to inform/educate residents as to the correct installation of their driveway/culverts and how to fix the problem ones already in existence.  Letters? Website? Flyers?

 

8.           Mailboxes.  Suggestions on how to get feedback from all residents about moving the mailboxes to the turnout at the intersection of Moose Mtn. and Spinach Cr. roads.  Letters? Website ‘survey’? Door-to-door solicitation?

 

9.           Neighborhood Watch

12.       Thanks to the Goldstream Valley Lions Club for the use of the Ken Kunkel Community Center, where we are able to hold our road service meetings on a regular basis.  The rental rate of the hall is $10 per hour for meetings like ours.  Should the road service area pay for the rental directly or should we ask for donations at the meetings to cover the rental rate?
